Good Governance and Cross-border cooperation programme: Results of the GGC01 and GGC02 calls - UPDATE

On 20th July 2020, the Government Office of the Slovak Republic, then the Programme Operator of the programme „Good Governance and Cross-border Cooperation“ implemented within the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021, made a Decision on the award of grants (decision on which projects shall be supported) for the calls GGC01 and GGC02.

On 25th September 2020, then the Programme Operator issued an addendum to the decision on the award of grants. Two projects from the reserve list have been supported.

The both calls were launched on 16th September 2019 and were dedicated to fostering institutional cross-border cooperation with Ukraine related to good governance, accountable institutions, transparency and contributing to improved integrity and accountability of public administration.

The Open call GGC01 was closed on 31st January 2020 and 11 project applications were submitted in amount of 5 829 205 €. Five projects will be supported within the call in amount of 2 500 000 € and three of them will be implemented in partnership with a donor project partner from Norway. Two projects are placed on the Reserve list for case of unallocated funds.

The Small grants scheme call GGC02 was closed on 15th January 2020 and 1 project application was submitted in amount of 166 202 €. No project will be supported within the call.
